Voihan meta-analyysi!
Tällä viikolla (muka) ylimääräinen aika on kulunut mukavasti englanninkielisten artikkeleiden tutkimusmenetelmäkuvauksia ihmetellessä. Akuutein ongelma artikkelikatsauksen suhteen on se, etten löytänyt juuri sellaista meta-analyysiä kuin toivoin. Vieläkään ei tietysti ole myöhäistä, koska koko asetelma on siinä vaiheessa että muutamien lukukertojen jälkeen artikkeleiden jäsentely ja asioiden yhdistäminen alkavat hahmottua pään sisällä. Tarkentavia muistiinpanoja on syytä tehdä vielä lisää ja poimia ne oleellisimmat asiat jotka tuntuvat tällä hetkellä puhuttelevan eniten.
Perheopinnot ajattelin aloittaa jo tässä vaiheessa vuotta, eihän ilmoittautumisesta ole kuin vajaat viisi kuukautta. ;) Luentomuistiinpanot on tulostettu ja kaksi kolmesta kirjasta odottaa pöydällä valmiina. Tuumasin tällä kertaa toimia hiukan käänteisesti normaalimenettelyyni verraten ja aloittaa kirjallisuuteen tutustumisella ja vasta sitten katson läpi luennot. Tällä tavalla toivon saavani luennoista mahdollisimman paljon irti.
Ja ne tieteellisen toiminnan perusteet ovat edelleen Suuri Arvoitus. Täytyy toki muistaa, että lähetin vastauspaperit vasta vajaat kolme viikkoa sitten. Realistinen aikataulu lienee ainakin vielä pari viikkoa tässä löysässä hirressä roikkumista tuomiota odotellen. Sillä välin ehtiikin jo tulla kesäkuu, ja ensi syksyn opintotarjontaan Chydeniuksessa pääsee tutustumaan lähemmin. Mitähän mahtaa pitää sisällään esimerkiksi uutuusjakso "Sosiaali- ja psykogerontologian opintokokonaisuus"?
